Account Manager (direct/indirect) Nordics ABC EMEA

The Account Manager will be responsible for the mostly independent support and expansion of sales of Computer Systems through retailers, expert markets and distributors and/or mostly independent support and expansion of key account business within a Nordic country.

 

He will plan the sales strategy for his area and produce concepts for the implementation of sales goals in close collaboration with the person responsible for the business unit (Area Sales Manager??) and possibly with the person responsible for cross-national coordination of retail and distributor business.

He will be in charge of achieving designated sales goals. He will produce marketing and advertising plans, plan and organize sell-out activities together with individual sales partners.

He will monitor sales partner stock levels, prepare their sales reports and will consolidate them. He will support sales staff of the distributors, expert markets and retailers with training, information and consulting for the processing of orders within key account business.

Similarly, he will coordinate administrative processing with Toshiba. Furthermore, he will maintain regular contact to retail and expert market business as well as to distributor product managers, and will contribute to the monthly PSI planning at Company.

He will take charge of active acquisition and sales activities within key account business, and intensive and comprehensive support of existing customers. He will independently process public bids and prepare offers and frame contracts with key accounts.

Furthermore, he will independently prepare information on new potential key accounts for his superior.

In addition, the Account Manager may also be required to assume responsibilities in the cross-national coordination of retail and distributor business in Scandinavia.

The tasks will be performed in a mostly independent manner. Methods for more complex tasks will be coordinated with his superior. Work results will be reviewed on a regular basis.

Education

A university or college degree in business administration or in a technical field of study.

Experience

3 to 5 years in an international sales organization of High Tech industry.
