Senior Expert Sales & Business Development ABC XY

The Senior Expert will have the responsibility for the strategic planning and development of sales and customer strategies for a Line of Business (LOB) for Computer Systems on the German market. This will include the analysis of sales strategies and of pricing and product policies of relevant competitors.

He will be responsible for the preparation and implementation of sales contracts, preparation and implementation of discount and pricing policies, the preparation of guidelines for the sales region and sales partners, planning sales promotions, incentives, trade fairs and events.

He will further develop existing sales concepts, i.e. the adaptation of sales structures, harmonization of the Terms & Conditions etc. based on the background of European integration. He will contribute to the preparation of incentives and events in coordination with Marketing and will support Sales in the support of sales partners at top management level.

He will represent the interests of ABC XY at the BITKOM. Furthermore, he will be in charge of potentials analysis, forecast, PSI and sell-out planning within the scope of business planning. In addition, his tasks will include P&L management, contribution to the shaping and implementation of product and marketing strategies as well as the coordination of and decision-making for activities with the other LOBs, Controlling and Strategic Business Development.

Furthermore, he will be responsible for the further development and standardization of internal reporting systems and for the definition of LOB-specific requirements of IT.

Management by his superior will be determined by defined principles and guidelines. Current programs and goals will be coordinated and decided upon periodically with his superior, whereby the Senior Expert will have freedom of decision in work flow and methods.


A university or college degree in business administration or in a technical field of study.
