Expert Quality Assurance & Engineering Support ABCThe Expert will be responsible for independent activities in quality assurance and product support for ABC products in European countries. He will analyze occurring quality issues on customer sites and will independently find solutions also for complex issues.
He will be the central point of contact for the division in quality issues that are relevant to customers and will be responsible for the coordination of all activities aimed at solving quality issues.
He will be in charge of maintaining contact and information exchange with Country headquarters and with production sites. He will coordinate his decisions for the assurance of defined quality standards with Engineering, Product Management and Sales; i.e. for the release of new products for delivery, for delivery halts of products with known malfunctions, for necessary re-working of products that are stored in ABC or JIT warehouses, or for call-in events.
He will establish and maintain the documentation for all quality materials of the division. He will monitor adherence to quality standards at third party configuration centers, warehouses and repair shops. Furthermore, he will be in charge of expediting external quality audits at third party suppliers, will accompany and supervise quality audits initiated by customers at Toshiba sites.
The tasks will be performed in an independent manner. He will coordinate methods for highly complex tasks and topics with intense influence with his superior. General guidance will include monthly review of principle tasks.
A university or college degree in a technical field of study or vocational technical training including further education in quality management according to the ISO 9000 Group.
More than 5 years in an international sales organization of High Tech industry.
