Specialist Product Planning & Business Development ABC XY
The Specialist will be responsible for mostly self-governing planning, development and implementation of product and marketing strategies in a Line of Business (LOB) for Computer Systems on the German and Austrian markets.
He will analyze information relevant to products and markets such as technology and product trends, price development and competition strategies.
Derived there from he will develop the LOB-specific product strategy. This will include the processing of product specifications, the determination of the product roadmap, preparation of pricing guidelines and determination of specifically German product requirements for transfer to European Marketing.
He will be in charge of product-life-cycle management and will represent the interests of ABC XY within the scope of worldwide product planning. Furthermore, he will be in charge of potentials analysis, forecast and PSI planning and the preparation of marketing measures within the scope of business planning.
Furthermore, his tasks will include P&L management, support in the preparation and implementation of sales strategies as well as the coordination of and decision-making for activities with the other LOBs, Controlling and Strategic Business Development.
The tasks will be performed in a mostly independent manner. Methods for more complex tasks will be coordinated with his superior. Work results will be reviewed on a regular basis.
Education
A university or college degree in business administration.
Experience
3 to 5 years in an international sales organization of High Tech industry.
