Senior Expert Marketing ABC XY
The Senior Expert will be responsible for the conception and planning of overall marketing strategies for all Lines of Business (LOB) for Computer Systems on the Country market.
Based on the analysis of competition strategies, competition marketing avenues and market segmentation will he produce strategies for the further development of existing sales channels and evaluate new sales channels.
Derived therefrom, he will produce mid- and long-term marketing plans and will coordinate these with his superior and top management. He will take charge of pro-active consulting of LOBs concerning the implementation of the marketing plans and direction of channel development. Within the scope of large, or long-term cooperation with external agencies will he negotiate and prepare contracts to the level of decision readiness.
He will be responsible for the coordination of the marketing mix, monitoring marketing activities in regard to quality and success and for the management of marketing budgets. This will also include the development of a system of indicators for the measurement of marketing activities and of a corresponding reporting system.
He will produce local communication strategies based on image studies and competition analyses; he will be in charge of branding including media planning and advertisement placement. He will be responsible for the planning and strategy for trade fairs, sponsoring and events. Beyond that, he will be the technical point of contact for less experienced peers in certain technical areas.
Management by his superior will be determined by defined principles and guidelines. Current programs and goals will be coordinated and decided upon periodically with his superior, whereby the Senior Expert will have freedom of decision in work flow and methods.
A university or college degree in business administration majoring in marketing.
More that 5 years in an international sales organization of High Tech industry.
