Account Manager ABC XY

The Account Manager will be mostly self-governing in his responsibility for the sales of Computer Systems through allocated direct and channel retailers within an area of the German market. He will be in charge of achieving sales goals.

He will monitor market development and, in coordination with his superior, produce business plans and strategies for existing and new sales partners with the aim of supporting their achievement of turnover goals.

He will support retailer staff in their sales activities by personal counsel and information as well as in the processing of Corporate Account business for building offers, price finding and project management. He will be responsible for the planning and implementation of sales events of sales partners within the scope of existing marketing plans. He will be in charge of sales promotion activities of Marketing and Technology as well as coordinating and supporting administrative order processing.

The tasks will be performed in a mostly independent manner. Methods for more complex tasks will be coordinated with his superior. Work results will be reviewed on a regular basis.


Vocational commercial or technical training including further professional education and several years of professional experience.


3 to 5 years in an international sales organization of High Tech industry.
