Sales Representative/Product Manager Distributor Business CS EMEAThe Sales Representative will be responsible for performing mostly independent sales activities in parts of the Region (i.e. South Africa) and for product marketing activities for defined products for Computer Systems in the sales region of EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa).
This will include the analysis of the market development and of the competition and the preparation thereof to decision readiness for Business Planning.
He will plan the sales strategy for his area in collaboration with his superior and will produce concepts for the achievement of sales goals.
He will be in charge of the achievement of the sales goals. He will stage events aimed at the implementation of local product, marketing and sales channel strategies together with individual distributors and will pro-actively further the increase of sales results.
He will support distributors with analyses and consultation in regard to their business development and their expansion in the markets, in regard to stocking and sell-out management, through constant information on pricing, new products as well as through joint visits to customers in supporting key account, dealer and retailer business.
He will produce recommendations for marketing and sales strategies for the B2B and B2C business based on market reports and analyses he produces within the scope of his product marketing activities and will identify and evaluate potential products for the offering of peripheral devices and accessories.
He will be in charge of product management and of product positioning tuned to market. He will take charge of providing for all information relevant to products within the Division and Region and will take over the preparation and implementation of product launches.
He will be the communication interface for product marketing of distributor business to EMEA product marketing.
The tasks will be performed in a mostly independent manner. Methods and contents for more complex tasks will be coordinated with his superior. Work results will be reviewed on a regular basis.
A university or college degree in business administration majoring in marketing, or in economics engineering.
3 to 5 years in an international sales organization of High Tech industry.
