Head Marketing ABC Distributor Business
The Head of Section will have the operative responsibility for the development and implementation of product marketing and marketing strategies Distributor Business for Computer Systems in the sales region EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa).
Within the scope of PSI processes he will produce suggestions for product roadmaps and marketing strategies for each region based on the analysis of regional sales trends.
He will closely collaborate with the regional sales offices and distributors with an aim towards optimizing their sales and marketing strategies.
This will include the implementation of centrally planned elements of the marketing strategy as well as consultation concerning specific local activities. His area of responsibility will include product management, the definition of product strategies as well as product launches and training.
He will manage the conception and implementation of marketing communication strategies through MarCom, PR and eBiz staff members for all of the regions.
He will be responsible for delivering suggestions concerning products, for pricing and specific sales campaigns within the scope of Options business.
Furthermore, he will initiate and support strategic partnerships with external partners (i.e. Microsoft, Intel) with an aim at maximizing business development.
Staff reporting to him will be managed based on objectives. He will decide on measures for the improvement of their technological and social skills together with his staff, and will ensure its transfer to daily routines.
Management by his superior will be determined by defined principles and guidelines. Current programs and goals will be coordinated and decided upon with his superior, whereby the Head of Section will have freedom of decision in work flow and methods.
A university or college degree in business administration majoring in marketing.
More that 5 years in an international sales organization of High Tech industry.
