Business Developer/Product Manager Digital Products CP
The Business Developer will be responsible for mostly independent activities in Business Planning and for market-adapted product positioning of Digital Products for the European markets.He will find and document European market and user demand, and, derived there from, produce suggestions for future product offerings.
He will be in charge of identifying new areas of business and of preparing contractual agreements with 3rd party suppliers up to decision readiness.
He will prepare business plans, budgets, sales forecasts and P/L calculations in coordination with his superior and will take over the review of inventory levels and orders.
Furthermore, his area of tasks include the preparation of market and competition analyses including bench marking, subsequent preparation of the findings as argumentation collateral for Sales as well as developing marketing plans and ensuring the implementation of such plans.
He will contribute to the preparation of materials for decisions concerning European pricing and to procurement and sales planning (PSI).
He will monitor sales results and will plan and monitor stock clearances. In addition, he will be in charge of the preparation and staging of field sales and dealer training as well as of participation in fairs and roadshows.
He will provide for technical counsel and support for dealers and end customers as well as for the European Toshiba organizations.
The tasks will be performed in a mostly independent manner. Content and methods for more complex tasks will be coordinated with his superior. Work results will be reviewed on a regular basis.
Education
A university or college degree in business administration majoring in marketing or in economic engineering.
Experience
3 to 5 years in an international sales organization of High Tech industry.
