Head Sales Planning & Administration CVPThe Head will have the responsibility for the product availability and order processing of Consumer Visual Products on the German market as well as for the support of distributors for Austria.
This will encompass maintaining administrative, customer-specific and timely processing of all orders, including the processing of reprimands and corrections.
He will produce the sales forecast, will be in charge of demand planning and stock management (PSI) for Consumer Visual Products in cooperation with sales management and will be responsible for department-specific reporting.
He will develop pricing strategies and sales promotions. He will grant prices to field sales within guidelines and will ensure timely processing of bonus credits to customers.
He will be responsible for the maintenance of customer and article data records. Furthermore, he will supervise secondary stocks for fairs, samples and B-stocks.
He will ensure communications between his area and customers, Sales, IS, Legal department and Finance, and will himself be the point of contact in basic issues.
He will, for the entire area of CP, be in charge of the deployment and management of a logistics service group for customer service, insurance processing and customs affairs as well as of planning, disposition and control of forwarding agents, including contractual agreements on terms and processing.
This will include the development of logistic work processes, their transfer to outsourced stock operations (currently Frans Maas) and supervision thereof.
Staff reporting to him will be managed based on objectives. He will decide on measures for the improvement of their technological and social skills together with his staff, and will ensure transfer of such to daily routines.
Management by his superior will be determined by defined principles and guidelines. Current programs and goals will be coordinated and decided upon with his superior, whereby the Head of Section will have freedom of decision in work flow and methods.
A university or college degree in business administration. Or: mercantile vocational training as a wholesale and import/export merchant with several years of pertinent business experience.
More that 5 years in a sales organization in a technical branch of industry.
