Key Account Manager OEM SDDThe Key Account Manager will be responsible for mostly independent sales of Storage Device Products to defined strategic accounts and to OEM customers / system integrators in defined European countries.
This will include mostly independent preparation of customer-specific sales strategies and the achievement of sales goals. He will take over intensive and comprehensive work on defined, allocated strategic accounts with the aim of ensuring and further expansion of long-term business development.
He will independently work on public bids and prepare offers and contractual framework together with strategic accounts.
He will be the point of contact for the customers and will be in charge of transferring customer-specific demand and specifications to Product Management.
He will be in charge of coordinating and supporting all pre- and post-sales activities relevant to customers and of the adherence of customers to payment deadlines.
He will acquire new OEM orders in coordination with his superior. Furthermore, he will be in charge of the support for allocated distributors.
The tasks will be performed in a mostly independent manner. Methods for more complex tasks will be coordinated with his superior. Work results will be reviewed on a regular basis.
A university or college degree in business administration or in a technical field of science.
3 to 5 years in an international sales organization of High Tech industry.
