Head Operations SDDThe Head will have the responsibility for the order processing as well as for demand planning and procurement of SDD products for European sales to distributors and to OEM customers.
This will encompass maintaining customer-oriented, administrative, timely and cost-effective processing of the import and export of products, including all of the logistics and customs affairs.
He will be responsible for permanent monitoring of demand planning and will ensure optimal stock management and product availability by correcting purchase quantities at Toshiba owned production sites.
This will also include stock level management of just-in-time stocks of the OEM customers as well as maintaining cost-effective and timely delivery.
He will be responsible for the coordination of inventory processes of all stocks. He will negotiate with forwarding agents and JIT stock services and prepare contractual agreements up to the point of decision-making maturity.
He will install EDI applications to OEM customers and key accounts as well as internet-based procedures and will maintain them. Furthermore, he will take over the development and deployment of processes required by his area and the optimization of work flow.
His area of responsibility will also include operative processing of customization and configuration of kits for cooperating external local partner companies.
He will ensure administrative process of reprimands, guarantee claims and reimbursement.
He will be responsible for cost and budget management of orders to external partners. He will ensure communications of his area to customers, Sales, production sites, finance and information services departments and will be the point of contact in basic issues.
Staff reporting to him will be managed based on objectives. He will decide on measures for the improvement of their technological and social skills together with his staff, and will ensure transfer of such to daily routines.
Management by his superior will be determined by defined principles and guidelines. Current programs and goals will be coordinated and decided upon with his superior, whereby the Head of Section will have freedom of decision in work flow and methods.
A university or college degree in business administration. Or: mercantile vocational training as a wholesale and import/export merchant with several years of pertinent business experience.
More that 5 years in an international sales organization of High Tech industry.
