Head Product Management/Business Development SDD

The Head will have total responsibility for Business Development, Product Management and market-adapted Product Positioning of all product lines in the European markets for Storage Device Products.

This will encompass identifying market demand and market trends which are promising in regard to profitability, and communication with research and development departments in Japan and the USA with the aim of implementation of new products and/or product adaptation.

He ensure proper preparation and realization of product advents and product exits and will monitor the existing product portfolio in regard to marketability.

His area of responsibility will include the planning for procurement, sales and inventory levels (PSI) and pricing.

He will be in charge of supporting Sales with information relevant to the products. He will support Sales at customer sites with presentations, counsel and argumentation.

He will, in close cooperation with the Operations Department, be responsible for inventory levels of all products and for ensuring deliverability.

Furthermore, will he maintain administrative and functional operations of our British and Irish organizations.

Staff reporting to him will be managed by objectives. He will ensure their systematic further development of skills.

The holder of this position will be required to demonstrate a high degree self-management and - reflection. Reporting to his superior will be governed by guideline objectives. Division-specific programs and goals will be discussed periodically and decided upon together with his superior.

His activities and decisions have a major impact on company product and pricing policies and signpost the division's direction of development.

Education

A university or college degree in business administration majoring in marketing or in a technical field of science.

Experience

More than 8 years in an international sales organization of High Tech industry.
