Business Developer/Product Manager Handhelds CS

The holder of this position will be responsible for performing mostly independent activities for the initiation, development and product marketing for handhelds in European countries. He will produce business models for new products and for improvements of existing products.

He will be in charge of the activities in market research, market and competition analysis with an aim toward identifying market and technology trends.

He will cooperate closely with Product Development in order to ensure, that the product entirely fulfils market and channel demands. This will include attaching necessary peripheral devices for complete product offerings.

He will take over tasks for market advents of new products or product improvements such as the preparation of decision-ready materials for pricing, preparation and review of plans for product launches and the preparation of briefings and materals.

He will support sales departments of European Toshiba Organizations and business partners with information and presentations relevant to the products.

The tasks will be performed in an independent manner. He will coordinate content and methods for more complex tasks and topics with his superior. Work results will be reviewed on a regular basis.


A university or college degree in business administration majoring in marketing or electronic data processing.


3 to 5 years in product management of an international sales organization of High Tech industry.
