Head Options Business CS EMEA
The Head of Section will have operative responsibility for the initiation, development, product marketing and the marketing of peripheral devices and accessories for notebooks and handhelds in the sales region of EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa).This will include the planning, implementation and regular review of business strategies and of the roadmap for peripheral devices and accessories of the Region as well as pro-active influence on the implementation through Sales with the aim of achieving defined sales goals.
He will work on the development of a worldwide roadmap for options strategies together with Japanese headquarters.
He will be responsible for the planning of purchase and sales amounts (PSI) for all accessories products as well as for the maintenance, and possibly, for the adaptation of required business processes;
he will monitor and control PSI processes in the Region and at country level. He will manage and initiate measures for the optimization of stock levels in order to prevent products from becoming obsolete in Toshiba organizations and will calculate suggested commissions to support sell-out activities for 'slow moving' and 'not moving' products.
He will have joint responsibility with Legal and MarCom departments for the development of all required processes and agreements for procurement and for marketing measures.
Furthermore, he will define and control the process of contractual agreement with 3rd party suppliers.
Staff reporting to him will be managed based on objectives. He will decide on measures for the improvement of their technological and social skills together with his staff, and will ensure transfer of such to daily routines.
Management by his superior will be determined by defined principles and guidelines. Current programs and goals will be coordinated and decided upon with his superior on a regular basis, whereby the Head of Section will have freedom of decision in work flow and methods.
Education
A university or college degree in business administration majoring in marketing or in computer science.
Experience
More that 5 years in an international sales organization of High Tech industry, of which at least 2 years of experience in marketing for peripheral devices and accessories.
