Business Developer/Product Manager Handhelds CS SeniorThe holder of this position will be responsible for performing independent activities for the initiation, development and product marketing for handhelds in European countries.
This will include suggestions for possible new products and, in coordination with Product Development, the estimation of market opportunities. He will produce business models for new products and improvements of existing products.
He will be responsible for the processes in market research, market and competition analysis with an aim toward identifying market and technology trends.
He will cooperate closely with Product Development in order to ensure that the products entirely fulfil market and channel demands.
This will include the selection of necessary peripheral devices for complete product offerings and negotiations with the suppliers.
He will produce concepts for market advents, new products and product improvements, for pricing and for briefings and materials.
He will support sales departments of European Toshiba Organizations and business partners with information and presentations relevant to the products.
The tasks will be performed in an independent manner. He will coordinate content and methods for highly complex tasks and topics with intense influence with his superior. General guidance will include periodic review of principle tasks.
A university or college degree in business administration majoring in marketing or electronic data processing.
More than 5 years in product marketing of an international sales organization of High Tech industry
