Head Product Marketing NB & PDA CS EMEA

The Head of Section will have the operative responsibility for Business Planning and Product Marketing of notebooks and other 'Mobile Form Factors' (MFF) as well as for the business strategies for the B2C business in the sales region of EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa).

This will include the business planning, product management and market-oriented product positioning of notebooks and MFF for the sales region in cooperation with Management.

He will plan demand and sales (PSI) and product roadmap budgets based on competition benchmarks. His area of responsibility will include the conception, aim, business planning and implementation of B2C business of the sales region in cooperation with EMEA and Japanese management.

He will communicate business aim and will ensure its implementation in said region. He will regularly analyze the business status and report on the findings as well as make suggestions to management.

He will be responsible for gathering and consolidating user requirements of the EMEA markets for notebooks and MFF and for the transfer of such information to Japanese headquarters for future product planning.

He will maintain local product launch support through information materials, presentations as well as will technology and product support.

This will include providing for all information relevant to products and markets for further processing by Marketing Communications and by the eBiz Department.

Furthermore, he will be responsible for supporting sales by conducting product, product strategy and technology presentations at trade fairs, events and at customer sites.

Staff reporting to him will be managed based on objectives. He will decide on measures for the improvement of their technological and social skills together with his staff, and will ensure transfer of such to daily routines.

Management by his superior will be determined by defined principles and guidelines. Current programs and goals will be coordinated and decided upon with his superior on a regular basis, whereby the Head of Section will have freedom of decision in work flow and methods.

Education

A university or college degree in business administration or in engineering majoring in Marketing or in computer science.

Experience

More that 5 years in an international sales organization of High Tech industry.
