The Sales Support Engineer will be mostly independent in supporting sales for servers during pre- and post-sales phases and in product marketing activities on the Italian market.

This will include supporting sales activities in the pre-sales phase through technical council, presentations and argumentation, and in the post-sales phase through customer support for the installation and integration of the products.

He will actively support the sales area in key account bids and will prepare documentation and technical descriptions. He will cooperate with 3rd party partners in preparing and implementing the local Server Competence Centers, which, amongst others, have the following goals:

presentation of Toshiba's server platform functionality, running benchmarks, supporting customers and partners as well as testing highly critical applications in complex server environments.

This will also include the maintenance and expansion of relationships to strategic technology partners. Furthermore, he will be in charge of producing marketing materials for product launches as well as training materials.

He will perform reviews and produce modification suggestions within the scope of product appraisals from a technical point of view and will offer feedback to the responsible departments in product development.

The tasks will be performed in a mostly independent manner. Methods for more complex tasks will be coordinated with his superior. Work results will be reviewed on a regular basis.

Education

A university or college degree in business administration or in engineering majoring in IT or similar.

Experience

3 to 5 years in a sales organization of IT industry.
