The Specialist will be responsible for mostly independent tasks in the selection and development as well as in product marketing for peripheral devices / accessories of notebooks and PDA's in the local market.


He will acquire and document local market and customer requirements based on VOC activity ('Voice of Customer') and will derive there from suggestions for future business strategies and roadmaps.

He will be in charge of the planning of local procurement and sales requirements (PSI) for all accessory products: he will maintain and, if need be, adapt required work flow and will monitor and support nationwide PSI processes.

He will monitor stock levels with an aim toward prevention of obsolete products; he will control and initiate product exchange between sales partners and will calculate possible reserves to support 'slow moving' and 'not moving' articles.

Furthermore, his area of responsibility will include the support of sales in planning and implementing marketing and sales activities for channel sales.

The tasks will be performed in a mostly independent manner. Methods for more complex tasks will be coordinated with his superior. Work results will be reviewed on a regular basis.


A university or college degree in business administration majoring in marketing or in IT.


3 to 5 years in an international sales organization of High Tech industry, of which at least 1 year in marketing for peripheral devices / accessories.
