Specialist Controlling European Environmental Department
The Specialist will be responsible for mostly independent activities in finance planning and controlling within the implementation of environmental European regulations in the European markets.
This refers specifically to the implementation of guidelines for the return and recycling of electric and electronic equipment (WEEE) and to the restrictions on the usage of dangerous substances in such devices (RoHS) as well as to the guidelines concerning the return of packaging and batteries.
He will produce business models at pan-European and country level which include cost calculation and financial planning and will take over the planning and administration of the budgets for all of the concerned business units.
He will prepare service agreements in cooperation with country representatives in respect to the national implementation of WEEE and RoHS guidelines.
He will monitor national implementations in regard to economic and financial aspects and will, if the need be, make suggestions for corrective measures. Furthermore, he will take charge of the installation and maintenance of an information system for monitoring financial and quantitative movements within the scope of product return systems.
The tasks will be performed in a mostly independent manner. Methods for more complex tasks will be coordinated with his superior. Work results will be reviewed on a regular basis.
Education
A university or college degree in business administration.
Experience
3 to 5 years in High Tech industry.
