The Head of Service will have total responsibility for technical Field Services, Third Party Services and Spares Supply for Consumer Visual Products in the German market as well as in designated European and non-European markets.
This will include the development, leadership and coordination of a customer-oriented and competitive service organization as well as the planning and implementation of service strategies.
He will be responsible for quality control and for field test activities for product launches.He will initiate admission procedures for new products at the applicable examination and certification boards.He will responsibly select contract repair shops and will ensure their support, training and supervision.
He will be in charge of term negotiation and closure of service agreements with repair shops and retail partners. His area of responsibility will also include raising and supervising warranty costs as well as the implementation of measures to reduce them.He will be the point of contact for the exchange of technology-relevant information with Company headquarters and production sites. Furthermore, he will be the representative at relevant associations.
He will manage staff reporting to him based on objectives and will ensure their systematic further development.
The holder of this position will be required to demonstrate a high degree self-management and - reflection. Reporting to his superior will be governed by guideline objectives. Programs specific to the Division and goals will be discussed periodically and decided upon together with his superior.
His activities and decisions have a major impact on service policies and signpost the division's direction of development.
A university or college degree in a technical field of study
