Head Sales Regions Small & Medium Business ABC XY

The Head of Sales will have operative responsibility for the sales of Computer Systems through direct and indirect retailers on the German market. He will produce the business plan for his area and strategize the implementation of sales goals in coordination with his superior.

He will be responsible for the achievement of sales goals and will monitor these in defined periods of time.

He will maintain the support of existing customers and the promotion of their sales as well as the acquisition of new business partners (direct, indirect, Solutions, Appliance) with the aim of solidifying and expanding market positions. Furthermore, he will maintain the support of sales partners in public bids and issuance of offers, in order processing for Corporate Account business as well as through project management for major projects.

This will include cooperation with Marketing and Technology and the coordination and support of administrative order processing. He will be responsible for the planning and pro-active support of sales promotions of sales partners within the scope of marketing planning. He will support sales activities of partners through personal contact at top management level.

Staff reporting to him will be managed based on objectives. He will decide on measures for the improvement of their technological and social skills together with his staff, and will ensure transfer of such to daily routines.

Management by his superior will be determined by defined principles and guidelines. Current programs and goals will be coordinated and decided upon periodically with his superior, whereby the Head will have freedom of decision in work flow and methods.

Education

A university or college degree in business administration or in a technical area of study.

Experience

More that 5 years in an international sales organization of High Tech industry.
